How It Works
1. Initial Consultation (15–30 min)
We’ll discuss your occasion, food preferences, location, date/time, number of guests, and budget.
2. Menu Draft
I’ll create an initial menu proposal tailored to your preferences and event style.
3. Menu Finalization & Estimate
Once you’re happy with the menu, I’ll send an estimated cost breakdown (chef fee + ingredient estimate).
4. Estimate Acceptance & Contract
When you approve the estimate, I’ll issue a formal contract for review and signature.
5. Deposit & Confirmation
To confirm your booking, a deposit of 50% of the chef fee and 100% of the estimated ingredient cost is required:
– At least 4 days before for Casual Dinners
– At least 7 days before for Private Dinners (to allow time for sourcing specialty or imported ingredients)
6. Enjoy Your Dinner
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the experience — I’ll take care of everything from setup to cleanup.
7. Final Invoice & Refunds
After the dinner, the remaining balance is invoiced. Any overpayment of ingredient costs will be refunded within 24 hours.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. How long will you need to be at the event to prepare?
Depending on the type of dishes, I typically arrive 1–3 hours before the event.
Most preparation is done in my commercial kitchen in advance, and only finishing touches or quick-cooking dishes (such as pasta, stir-fry, or steak) are prepared fresh in your kitchen.
If you’d like a slower or more interactive experience, I can adjust the flow to match the atmosphere of your event.
2. When will you leave?
For Casual Dinners, I begin cleaning up shortly after serving the food and leave once the kitchen is spotless.
For Private Dinners, I start cleaning after the main course, prepare and serve dessert, then tidy up quietly before departing — usually within 15–30 minutes after dessert is served.
3. Do you provide tableware or serving dishes?
Tableware, glassware, and linens are not included in the base fee.
If you’d like me to provide them, they can be arranged for an additional cost, depending on the items and event size.
4. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies?
Yes — I can tailor your menu to accommodate most dietary preferences and restrictions.
However, please note that all preparation takes place in a shared commercial kitchen, where cross-contamination cannot be fully guaranteed.
If your guests have severe allergies, please inform me in advance so we can discuss safe alternatives.
